Wickham Vineyard is a member of both the English Vineyards Association and the Wessex Vineyards Association.  Planted in 1984, the vineyards are run by John and Caroline Charnley, wth winemaking by John Charnley and John Worontczak.  They produce a range of wines, and I can personally vouch for the high quality of their work.

The Vineyard has an on-site shop and restaurant, and they also run tours of the wine-making facilities (check with the Vineyard for details of opening times.  Our site at Wickham is within the vineyard itself, and is a superb natural amphitheatre.  We would like to thank John and Caroline for generously allowing us to continue using this wonderful venue.

Nearest post code is SO32 2HL.

Getting to Wickham Vineyard from the M27

Map Wickham Vineyard

Directions to Wickham Vineyard from the M27

If you are travelling westbound, leave the M27 at Junction 10.  If you are travelling eastbound, the easiest way is to leave at Junction 11, go around the roundabout and get back on the M27 heading west.

Head north up the A32 until you reach a fork in the road as you enter Wickham.  Take the left fork, the A334.  You will pass Wickham village square on the right.

Follow the A334 until you reach another fork.  Again, take the left fork, through Shedfield and signposted towards Botley.

The entrance to the venue is on your right, through a farm gateway which should have our signs on it.  Follow the track and park with the cars already there.  Please try and park neatly and close to the other vehicles to allow those entering after you to park.

If you reach the buildings of the Wickham Vineyard shop on your right, you've gone a little too far.  You can turn around in the courtyard (please don't park there, the space is limited), and retrace your steps.
